Chic wedding in Bologna. This bologna wedding was a labour of love by the bride, groom, their friends and family. It was held at the bride’s best friend in Italy, near Bologna, among sweet hills covered in corn and vineyards. The couple, from London, made everything possible to bring their personality and story into the day. Both designers, they handmade their invitations and all the paper goods, and with the help of their crafty friends put together favours, signs, and decor pieces throughout the venue. They played a lot on the match of their ethnicities and the fact that friends call them white and black chocolate and the fact that they met because of cake. Everyone participated somehow and made the day about a big family surrounding the couple and supporting them with their love. Drinks were provided by the bride’s brother, who is one of the best barmen in the world! The mother of the groom decorated the barn where the ceremony was held, conducted by the bride’s best friend. The ceremony was so unique, filled with personal touches and surprises. Everybody was laughing and crying so hard at the same time! A big U shaped country table was ready outside, for a family style simple meal and some more heartfelt speeches. The night went on with the cutest cake cutting and mad dancing! The bride’s best friend, who is a stylist for Beyoncè, cut the dress’ train on the spot so Natasha could dance. And did they dance! Laura Bravi, thank you for inviting me to be a part of this wedding! If you like to see more weddings from Italy like this one just click here.
