Gay wedding photography in France,
I love visiting France, it’s always a delight. So, when I was invited to shoot this same-sex destination wedding, which took place in the north of France, I felt excited and greatly honoured. The young wedding couple took their vows of eternal love on a beautiful sunny day. It was an outdoor ceremony on the premises of a beautiful mansion, surrounded by the shade of old majestic trees. The mansion itself was most impressive. The whole estate was bursting with fine arts and intriguing little details that screamed to be photographed.
Friends from all around the world were invited to this destination wedding in Chateau la Durantie, but most of them came from Australia. The wedding ceremony was styled to perfection. A long and robust, lined and a stylishly set table was spread quietly in the middle of a glorious park. The set was absolutely perfect for destination wedding photography. I felt like a little kid in a candy store – I wanted it all! The wedding decorations were remarkably refined, the wedding guests’ dress code, the excellent food – it all came together in a magical wedding ceremony. During the dinner some speeches were made and there were quite a few tears shed when they talked about the power of the young men’s love.
After dinner (finger licking good, of course), there was a 10-minute fireworks show, which reminded the world that something really special had happened that day. The air was filled with positive energy and it was all channelled into dancing and partying late into the night. The guests let loose and the cheerful, amusing vibe of the day turned into a wild fun night.
I loved being a part of this wedding day. Thank you all very much. Are you hungry for more wedding pics with a French flair?
