Iceland. The island of ice and fire. Where the sun does not set during the summer and its light paints the world with enchanting colours.
As soon as the plane started landing, I thought that we’ve arrived to Mars. The landscape was so different and so mysterious. There it was, infinite nature with an endless, indescribable silence that pulls you in and gives you a sense of safety and sanctuary. The fresh air opens your mind and clears the future.
I was pleased to accept the invitation from Katia and Luca, the young couple from Milan who invited me to join them on their newly shared path. The wedding ceremony took place in a small idyllic church in an old fishing town Hellnar.
The magic of the fairy-tale landscape painted memorable moments of the bride and groom, and the lens of my camera gladly caught them.Iceland, the land of extreme natural contrasts, which Mother Nature has painted with magnificent embellishing colours, is a perfect destination for creating wedding photos. To me, this wedding destination is one of the most beautiful places and it seems like it was made for wedding photography. This place leaves you speechless, makes you think and feel grateful. To be. A part of this beauty. Driving around with the bride and groom, exploring new corners of this magical land, locations for wedding photos presented themselves. I highly recommend it.
