Alba wedding. I always have and always will be a storyteller. I love weddings with endless laid-back socializing, hidden somewhere far from civilization. When the guests, invited from all over the world, postpone the burden of everyday life and surrender themselves to pure pleasure. When different cultures share one faith – love. And the best part is when the happy couple tells you to just do what you do best … capture moments of a wedding without excessive posing.
This time, the path led me back to Italy, namely to the town Piemonte, near Alba, where in the middle of vineyards this wonderful marriage of a young Swiss couple took place.
What makes destination weddings so interesting is the mixture of cultures that happens when guests from all over the globe come together. And this time they travelled from different corners of Europe, Morocco and South America.
Refreshments followed in a nearby restaurant Locanda del Pilone, where Michelin stared chefs pampered us infinitely.
Pleasant sun caressed us all day long and in the afternoon, it turned into a golden silky sheet, stroking relaxed faces. See more from Italy
