A Dolomites Wedding in October – Far Away from the Busy World
Some weddings feel like stepping into another world. This one took place high in the Italian Dolomites, far away from the noise and rush of everyday life. It was October, and the first snow had already dusted some of the peaks around us, while the autumn sun warmed both the air and the soul.
A Mountain Wedding Ceremony with a View
Most of the guests travelled all the way from Singapore, and they couldn’t stop admiring the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Against the backdrop of rugged peaks, golden autumn colours and snow-capped summits, the couple promised each other forever in a truly spectacular location. For a Dolomites wedding photographer, it doesn’t get much better than this: soft mountain light, crisp air and a love story unfolding in one of the most beautiful places in Europe.
A Wedding Cake Made of Cheese
One of my favourite details of the day was the wedding cake. Instead of a classic tiered cake, the couple chose a tower of different cheeses stacked on top of each other. It was a playful, delicious nod to the region, and a real hit with the guests.
The Wedding Reception at Hotel Villa Rossa
The celebration continued at Hotel Villa Rossa, where the guests enjoyed fine food, warm conversations and plenty of dancing late into the night.
